A fantastic addition to the Photosmart line, HP's Photosmart C5383 is an all-in-one device capable of printing, scanning, and copying. It has a print speed of up to 30ppm for coloured draft quality A4s. The Photosmart C5383 has a maximum dpi of 9600x2400 and a scanning resolution of up to 4800 x 9600 dpi. Ink system failure can be an issue after prolonged use, and the unit does not have an automatic document feeder.
Design
HP's Photosmart C5383 is a standard, no frills printer, scanner, and copier with a 125 sheet input tray and 20 sheet photo tray. This multifunction printer features a flatbed scanner on top of the unit. It measures 452 x 406 x 207 mm and weighs just about 7.5 kilos.
Advantages
The Photosmart C5383 provides slots for a variety of storage cards, including Memory Stick, CompactFlash, SD multimedia and high capacity card, xD picture card, and Memory Stick Duo.
