The HP Colour LaserJet 4700dn prints at a resolution of 600x600dpi and runs on a 533MHz processor with 288MB of RAM. There is an option to integrate a hard disk drive to unlock additional features for document storage and security. The HP 4700dn printer's standard connectivity is either parallel or high-speed USB 2.0 port, but it is possible to make it work with a Bluetooth wireless adapter. The entire device measures 20.5 inches wide, 22.9 inches tall, and 37.4 inches deep when the paper tray is extended.
